Hi I’m Tamara,

I’m a storyteller at heart.

Long before I ever published a book, I was the kid filling far too many notebooks with stories. After reading The Lily Series by Nancy Rue in grade school that completely changed the way I saw the world, something clicked in me. I realized stories weren’t just entertainment—they could shape the way someone lives.

From that moment on, I wrote as often as I could: short stories, poems, songs, plays, even a family newspaper.

That love of storytelling led me to publish my first book in 2019—a nonfiction guide about discovering your identity. It came out of my own life journey and the powerful keys I had been learning that I had to share with the world. Over the next few years I published two more nonfiction books.

But there was always something quietly waiting in the background.

Fiction.

For years I avoided it. I wasn’t sure I was good enough to write the kind of powerful stories that had shaped my own life. In 2025, I finally decided to kick fear to the curb. I committed to writing seven fiction books, with the first three releasing in 2026.

The Heart Behind My Stories

My stories are what I like to call “impossibly ordinary.”

They are grounded in everyday life—normal people, real struggles, familiar moments—but with one life-changing truth woven through them:

When ordinary people walk with God, impossible things become possible.

I want readers to close my books feeling inspired, hopeful, and empowered. Not because the characters were extraordinary, but because they really weren’t.

They were ordinary people who chose courage, faith, and purpose.

And if they can do it… maybe the you can too.

Who I Write For

Most authors choose one age group.

I don’t.

My heart is to write stories that meet people right where they are, whether they’re young readers discovering story for the first time or adults who need to be reminded of hope again.

At the center of every story is the same message:

God loves His children deeply, and life with Him is far more practical, present, and powerful than many people realize.

You won’t find forced lessons or overly preachy themes in my books. Faith simply lives in the story the way it lives in real life—woven into everyday moments.

A Little About My Life

I currently live in the Texas Panhandle, though I was born and raised in Northern California.

I’m the oldest of twelve siblings, which means I learned early that whether we realize it or not, we are always leading someone whether we realize it or not; someone is always watching our example.

When I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me spending time with my family, walking barefoot in the dirt, or waking up before the sun when the world is quiet.

What I’m Working On

Right now I’m deep in the world of fiction.

Several projects are currently in progress, with the first books releasing in 2026. I probably shouldn’t have a favorite… but I’m especially excited about Project A.S. and the stories that will unfold in that series.

If you’re curious about what’s coming next, you can explore the projects on my Upcoming page.
